These questions are optional. My interest in dancing:
I enjoy dance and meeting people who dance. Musicians too.
My interest in playing music for dancing:
If only....
My interest in dances from different european countries and areas:
Primarily, French is my thing, though I'll try pretty much anything.
My interest in finding out about traditional social dances around Europe:
I'm always interested in finding out about dances and improving my technique on the ones I do know!
My interest in helping others learn some traditional social dances around Europe:
Spread the word !
My suggestions for how this site could be more useful:
OK, it's good. The more people join the better - so get on with it if you are just reading this! Once it achieves a critical mass it should really take off. I like the way we can share photos of events and have started to put details of other dances in the area.

Hi, Stuart, It's true, the photos are a good idea - I wouldn't have known who you were otherwise, but I recognise you now. Maybe see you at French dance tomorrow.
Hi Stuart, I'm fine thanks and my knee has just about recovered from learning to ski. It's a shame you missed Ketton. We did loads of new bourees. There were too many people there for those at the back to see or hear the instructions but it was fun trying to work out what to do. I can see now how regional variations start! I thought it would be too crowded to dance back at the house but we even managed to do a chapeloise in the kitchen! I don't know if I'll make it this month either. Catch up with you before long, I hope. Have fun. Jo x

French dance was as good as usual last night. I did a few dances I hadn't done before as well as remembering a few I had without too much prompting.
Plymouth is quite a trek - I took my daughter down once to take the ferry to France with her cousins (who live much closer to Plymouth).
I won't be at French dance next time but maybe will see you at the one in July.
