- These questions are optional. My interest in dancing:
- Not so much dancing as playing the tunes. I have 2 left feet, so dancing, unless dragged onto the floor, is out. I also seem to have 2 left hands when it comes to playing pipes...
- My interest in playing music for dancing:
- I am learning to play bellows bagpipes, and also play whistle and recorder. I have recently started trying to sing and play pipes at the same time. As if playing them alone isn't difficult enough!!!!
- My interest in dances from different european countries and areas:
- I play some French and a few Spanish tunes. Don't ask what they are called though.
- My interest in finding out about traditional social dances around Europe:
- I started off by playing medieval and renaissance tunes, and wanted to know the sort of dances that went with the music.Things just followed on from there.
- My interest in helping others learn some traditional social dances around Europe:
- Swapping tunes
